Hi! I’m Caprice, I am a digital Illustrator and designer, I use art to raise awareness of accessibility issues and disabilities, aiming to break stigmas. Being wheelchair-bound due to a muscle condition and autistic, my passion for art remains strong. I create diverse and relatable digital work, focusing on connecting, educating, and supporting others. Through freelancing, I offer logos, illustrations, icons, and graphics.
As someone who understands the challenges of living with a disability, I know how important it is to have access to resources and support. That’s why I’m dedicated to using my skills to help others in similar situations. Through my work, I aim to create inclusive and accessible digital content that empowers young people to express themselves and connect with others. I believe that technology can be a powerful tool for positive change. Ultimately, my goal is to help create a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their abilities or circumstances.
In addition to my professional work, I also play Para Ice Hockey for the team Manchester Mayhem and study British Sign Language (BSL), both help me stay in touch and communicate with the disabled community in different ways! I enjoy advocating for disability rights and inclusion. I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their physical or cognitive differences. I work closely with advocacy groups and organizations to promote disability awareness and accessibility in all aspects of society.
Living with a disability can be challenging, but it can also be a source of strength and resilience. I hope that by sharing my own experiences and using my skills to help others, I can inspire more young people with disabilities to pursue their passions and achieve their dreams. With the right support and resources, anything is possible.
